Born on an Army base in Concord, Massachusetts on June 24th, I quickly moved to Hartford, Connecticut, which became my home base while growing up. As I neared adulthood, I started itching for something more than Connecticut. At 18, I knew I needed to explore new places.
Music has been a constant for me since childhood. Around seven, I started singing in a church choir, which opened up a whole new world of music. Soon after, I picked up the cello, and that was it – I was hooked. The cello became my main way of expressing myself.
I really dove into the arts at the Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts, where I got into Musical Theater. That’s also where I met Carolyn Kirsch, a Broadway performer who became a mentor. Her guidance really solidified my love for performing.
After graduating, I studied Music Education with Voice and Cello at Central Connecticut State University. At the same time, I also studied acting at The Hartford Conservatory. This combination gave me a pretty versatile skillset
Since then, I’ve been touring in musicals and plays all over, and I’ve also done some commercials and films. I've enjoyed jumping between different mediums.
Lately, I’ve gotten into music production. I'm particularly fascinated with K-pop and how it’s put together. I've been making my own pop songs and developing ideas for musical plays since 2016.
However, I’ve dealt with depression for years, which stalled things creatively for a while. I finally decided to get professional help, which was a big step forward.
Recently, I was diagnosed with ADHD and Autism, in addition to depression. It's helped me understand myself better. I'm really focusing on personal growth now. This website will document my journey, including my music, production work, and play ideas. I’m also planning to start a blog to share my thoughts and experiences, and I’d love for you to join me.
